The cultural, sports, and tourism sector, part of Pingshan’s “6+3” industrial clusters, has experienced significant growth in recent years. The district boasts a complete industrial chain for the drama, film, television, and cultural industries, encompassing creation, production, and exhibition. Several popular TV dramas, films, and entertainment programs have been filmed in Pingshan.

Shenzhen Pingshan International Movie City covers 180,000 square meters, with a construction area of 700,000 square meters. It features shooting studios of various sizes — 1,200 square meters, 2,500 square meters, 3,000 square meters, and 5,000 square meters, as well as studios for directors, retail shops, offices, and apartments. The shooting studios can accommodate a wide range of scenes in films, and the 3,000-square-meter studio is equipped with a 240° LED screen and a 100-square-meter ceiling screen. 

The movie city is located on Jinbi Road and is close to Jinlong Station on Shenzhen Metro Line 14.
